How do I charge a fee after a rental, if it applies?

To charge a renter for a fee from your add-ons, you will suggest a change to the rental before midnight on the day the rental returns and select the applicable penalty fees from your add-ons.

To charge a renter for a variable fee, please send the receipt within 48 hours of the rental ending, or receiving a toll bill, to support@rvrentals.com.

Any post trip fees must be mentioned, with their fee, in your listing so renters are made aware of any possible charges before booking. If these fees are fixed, they must also be entered into the add-ons section of your listing. Any variable fees such as refueling or tolls must be mentioned in your listing, so renters know they are responsible for these things.

Example: Cleaning fee

Listing - RV must be returned clean or you will be charged an additional $100 cleaning fee.

Example: Refueling fee

Listing - RV must be returned with a full tank of gas or you will be charged for the total to refuel.

If you are not able to assess these fees before midnight on the day the RV is returned, please email information about the penalty fees that need to be charged along with the completed rental forms, to support@rvrentals.com within 48 hours of the rental ending.

Note: Without completed rental forms or penalty fees present in your listing at the time of booking, claims may be denied.
